DH Hank Blalock and LF Marlon Byrd had back-to-back homers in the eighth -- the first pair of Rangers to hit back-to-back homers this season. Jarrod Saltalamacchia broke out of a 1-for-25 slump with a ninth-inning homer.

He allowed six hits and three runs in 1-2/3 innings Friday to raise his ERA to 15.43 for the season. Three of the seven games were against Baltimore (30-3 in 2008; 26-7 in 1996 and 19-6 on Wednesday).
