--CF Josh Hamilton is off to a solid start, though he has only one home run in the first nine games. One problem may be Hamilton's tendency to swing at the first pitch. Hamilton has swung at the first pitch 25 times in his first 42 plate appearances (59.5 percent). --The Rangers have scored 19 or more runs in a game seven times since moving to Texas in 1972 from Washington. Three of the seven games were against Baltimore (30-3 in 2008; 26-7 in 1996 and 19-6 on Wednesday).
