 May 8, 2009 (Fort Worth Star-Telegram delivered by Newstex ) -- Matt Harrison became the first left-hander in Texas history to pitch a shutout in Chicago as the Rangers blanked the White Sox. Harrison allowed just four hits and struck out five in notching his second career shutout and fifth as a professional. Harrison (3-2) has won his last three starts and hasn't allowed a run in 19 consecutive innings. He got the only offense he would need on a first-inning RBI single from Omar Vizquel.
