ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Texas third baseman Hank Blalock was scratched from the starting lineup with an upset stomach before the start of the Rangers' game Monday night against the Seattle Mariners.
Ramon Vazquez replaced Blalock in the lineup.Blalock, who came into the game hitting .273 with four home runs and 15 RBIs, had played in nine games at third since coming off the disabled list July 18. He missed nearly three months with leg and hand injuries.
