Josh Hamilton leaves game with injury
SURPRISE, Texas (AP) - Josh Hamilton left Texas' game against the Seattle Mariners with a strained left Achilles' tendon Sunday but said later it was "no big deal."

Hamilton hit a drive off the wall in front of the left-field bullpen for a triple in the first inning. The All-Star slugger jogged out to his position in center field between innings but went back to the dugout before the second inning started.

"I felt fine running," Hamilton said. "The next pitch, I went to take my secondary lead and when I went back something grabbed."

Hamilton walked to the Rangers' right-field clubhouse where he was examined by team physicians. He is day-to-day but said he could play Monday, if asked.

"It's no big deal," Hamilton said. "It just tightened up on me and we've got 800 spring training games left. These aren't important."

The 28-year-old Hamilton is 5-for-9 with two homers, a triple and four RBIs in four games this spring.
